We Own This City: A True Story of Crime, Cops and Corruption in an American City by Justin Fenton

Not my favorite read/genre so far HOWEVER this book was extremely well written. It reads non-fiction crime story and it’s structured in a way that you don’t get lost in the timeline of events.
I often thought, “ok they’re going to get caught now” after every chapter. If you’re interested in the police corruption of Baltimore in the late 2000’s world high recommend.

I regret waiting so long to pick up this book. I knew very little about the stories covered in this book, which focuses on corrupt cops in Baltimore, Maryland. It's meticulously reported and incredibly well-written.
