I absolutely loved every word of this. From the hilarious plotting to the characters each unique charms, all the way to the fantasy escapism of seeing fully rounded characters who are both fun and interesting. Waters has quickly turned into a must-read for me.

This has quickly become my favourite book. A great book for getting back into reading, very lighthearted and hilarious. it’s smart and has lots of feminism which i loved. the characters are so amazing and i found myself falling in love with each and every one of them. i adore the way this author writes things and look forward to the third book in the series coming out.

Diana and Jeremy are a firecracker pair, and I loved everything about their courtship and eventual relationship. Top-notch banter, mutual understanding, a long history of friendship, and, of course, attraction, makes for a fantastic couple. I also loved that miscommunication played no part in their "breakup"--these were two mature adults realizing their own feelings, having trouble coming to terms with them, but at the same time willing to work with and communicate those feelings to the other person. My only complaints are the short timeline and the lack of a prolonged conflict or resolution; it all happened very quickly. But I would absolutely recommend this romance, and honestly think it's a great introduction to the adult romance genre because of the great characters and easily digestible yet entertaining plot. Loved these cuties!
