This book was so fun! I initially wanted to wait to read this until after my wedding, but the plot didnāt give me any nightmares or budget envy. Instead it showed me Ama, an amazing wedding planner, and her second chance with Elliot, the grumpiest floral designer in the world.
I really loved the characters, the dual timeline, the weddings, and the chemistry between Ama and Elliot. I loved how he took care of her, how they set, maintained, and self-adjusted their boundaries, and how they made each other sparkle.
Iām looking forward to seeing whatās next from Julie Soto, sheās definitely getting added to my list of auto-buy authors. 4 stars

If you like extreme āhe falls first and falls harderā trope to where he is basically delulu, this is for you. Elliot is āsatelliteā by Harry Styles. I will say, I respect the heck out of Ama, because she is a queen who knows what she wants and she goes and gets it. She has this tall grumpy brooding man on a LEASH for her, even when she doesnāt want marriage or even a relationship/commitment, and he does.
I thought it was a good choice to have it only show Elliotās POV in the past and only Amaās POV in the present! I liked the overall plot with the forced proximity as they work on a high-profile wedding together. The overall pacing was good, and it went on the faster side. I think my issue was that Elliot thought he could change Amaās mind, which felt very delusional and annoying to me. Also, the resolution was EXTREMELY fast, and I feel like it wasnāt even actually resolved, they just kinda skipped over the issues.
Overall, this wasnāt bad by any means, but it wasnāt my favorite.

- FORGET ME NOT is a delicious second chance romance told through a dual timeline, with the woman's chapters in the present day and the man's chapters in the past, recalling their relationship and breakup.
- I listened to the audiobook, and while the performances were good, the male narrator was a bit too committed to being the grumpy in the grumpy/sunshine, often sounding like he was rolling his eyes at the end of every sentence, even during spicy scenes the character was clearly into.
- Aside from that, this is was lovely, tender story of two people finding their way back to each other, all while surrounded by excellent supporting characters.
- Plus, I won't give away the ending, but I loved it and how it broke the mold.
