Easy reading
Second chances
Hero with hard shell
I enjoyed this audio, the peppiness of the FMC and the harsh shell of the MMC. Their second chance was hard won and enjoyable for this. The setting of the wedding business was entertaining even if it's really not my kind of thing.
Great narration, dual POV, dual narration.

This was so cute, I’ll definitely read more books by Julie Soto when they come out. I really loved it and I liked the wedding planner setting. Also the way it’s formatted with dual povs and dual timelines was amazing, that might be my favourite bit about it.

I liked it. Quite the romance. I enjoyed the setting, Sacramento.. the characters were good, the love story and main relationship made me think of mine, especially with the main character, Ama and her mother’s marriages. Elliot was great!

It was fine. I’m not a big second chance romance but I’d heard such good things about this one I thought I’d try it. One of the things I hate that happen in 2nd chance is when they hint at what broke them up. This author hints and we don’t actually find out till like 70% I think. The sex scenes were so interchangeable I actually skipped a couple, bc they were the same and didn’t add anything. I didn’t really feel chemistry, longing, love, banter NOTHING between the characters. Just a quick fuck. And the fact that they didn’t fight for each other just isn’t my favorite and I think says a lot about their relationship. They just walked away: both of them. So yeah it was fine
