First of all, I want to say that Molly did cheat but not sexually because she was drunk and did not consent. She was raped and I didn’t know that would be talked about and I wished I did knew cause I felt uncomfortable listening to Molly talking about it as if it’s just nothing. Rape is serious. I didn’t like how Finn reacted as well cause if I heard my spouse was raped I would’ve been shattered. I also don’t think they should’ve gotten back together since Finn still felt like he couldn’t forgive her. He should’ve stuck to therapy and not with Molly’s mother’s friend but someone else. Devney Perry could’ve brought awareness to couples who have dealt with situations like this by showing that things can get better with therapy and coming to terms to what happened instead they fuck and everything is fixed. Finn’s feelings make sense but also Molly’s I just didn’t enjoy listening to Bridget having no boundaries and flatly calling Molly a cheater thanks to Finn not knowing to keep his family life outside of work and giving her the idea that Bridget is important in Finn’s life to say things such as this to the mother of his kids. Finn isn’t a good person and so is Molly. In my opinion I feel like Molly and Finn have no boundaries and need therapy before they can even CONSIDER dating each other. I also don’t like when people leave their jobs for love cause that’s stupid unless you’re a billionaire then it makes sense but I would’ve preferred if Finn just worked less and not completely stop working the company Molly and him built. They also blame the death of Poppy’s husband, Finn, for them divorcing. Like what the fuck you cannot be serious. Finn’s sister is suffering after her husband dies and then you divorce because of her. What the fuck is wrong with them? Jesus fucking Christ. I thought I would find something good but I can’t think of anything.

A Gorgeous Read with One Flaw

The characters, their issues, and th  context of the story this book tells are deep, wounded, gorgeously written. So flawed and yet likable that they feel very real.amd sympathetic. Theor youthful errors are ones many make.
The only problem is there is sexual assault in this book and no one, including the author, calls it out.  The FMC blames herself, as so many women do, but she was BLACK OUT DRUNK!! That is rape not cheating and someone should at least address it in an author's note or it is a disservice to all SA"d people

There is a serious consent issue that is left unacknowledged by anyone in the book at any point
