this book wasn’t as good as the first :(( i was annoyed by how many of the characters acted in this installment, especially fable, and i felt like the characterization that had been built up in the last book was thrown to the wayside to make the plot work. i enjoyed the last ~15% of the book, but other than that, i can’t say this was anything above average.
