I’ve reignited my Twilight bug and I have zero regrets.
I rented this audiobook via Libby, and I’m glad I did because hearing Edward’s obnoxious and lengthy thoughts made for a more pleasant (and faster!) reading experience. With the money that I would have spent on a Libro.fm credit, I’ve decided to donate the money to the Quileute Tribal Council’s Move to Higher Ground fund.

I liked it quite a lot!
Stephs writing has actually grown so much! Edwards perspective was really eye-opening and I know she was going to show that Bella is not insufferably bland... but SHE IS. And to top it she IS as stupid as I remember when I was reading Twilight Saga eleven years ago, when I was ten. Some might say she’s wise and knows what she wants. And if Edward were to turn her most of the plot points would’ve been resolved easily.
Still here I saw that Bella was really looking for a boyfriend material and was blinded by Edwards predator attractiveness. And if we’re talking about Edward, for him Bella is food. His love towards Bella is reminiscent of an apex predator playing with his food. It does feel forced. At least until last few chapters.
But it’s just YA-novel, right? And most of us here because of the nostalgia.
Oh and Jacob is leagues better of course.

I liked it. Some goes right with the movie and I wish went in the movies. He is whiney. But you do get to see alot more of him and his Family.

First of all, this is probably the longest book I've ever read, except the Bible, which maybe this is even longer!
I assumed it would be the trilogy in one book from Edward's perspective. Nope - it's just the first book. Lots and lots of emotional and thought details which I got a bit weary of. Admittedly it's been over a decade since I read Twilight so it might have been more fun/interesting to read that again before reading this.
I did enjoy the book, I just didn't love it like I expected to. It's a big commitment to read this one - but you won't regret it.

I put this on hold during peak hoa hoa hoa season and finally got to it. It was pretty much exactly what I expected it to be, no better or worse. I feel pretty neutral.
This book took me right back to my teenage days reading the original series in the break room of Sears Grand.

This book follows much of how the first movie went but in Edward Cullens perspective. It definitely gives insight into the vampires that may surprise you more than you think. Hoping Stephanie does the other characters somehow.
