DNF

Thought this was gonna be so cringe but it took me back to being 13 again

Edward is creepy….

Great because it’s reminiscent of my childhood and I always wanted this alternate POV. Also incredibly unhinged but in the best way. Edward is so dramatic, and getting first person into what he was thinking, perfect. Kinda felt like reading Twilight again for the first time which is so fun and nostalgic.

Reread. Look, I know it's problematic, but I love being with Edward. A man who works to control his violence= hot.  Someone suffering from "I know all the reasons you can't love me" syndrome= relatable. I'm also fascinated by the special talents of Edward, Alice and Jasper - imagine what it must be like to live like that.

Girly pleasure. Reliving those teenage feelings. Finally got the side that teen me wanted to read.

3.8 ⭐️ I want to rate this 4 stars so bad but found the last 100 pages of Edward’s inner monologue so disappointing and void of hope. Even though I know how the rest of the series plays out, this was written as a stand alone installment and I think it should’ve ended as such, but I was a bit unsatisfied.
