Fantastic! I think it cured my mild arachnophobia. So many easter eggs too! I loved the David Brin reference and the Discworld computer refernece, and James Tiptree of course. The matriarchal society is developed very well. I got really excited when I realized the consequence of the planet being less massive and spinning faster than Earth:
