I always find it difficult to review poetry books because I know a poet puts their heart and soul in each of their written work. However, I will always be honest in my reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this book as much as I thought I would even though I wasn't sure of what I wanted out of it. I finished reading this quickly, and not in a good way. I've already seen the contents of this book in another form before, but I'm glad the author made poems that will make people want to experience the kind of love he has found. Not bad, but nothing life-changing, either.

It was okay, although the phrases/poem is too short for my liking?

I only highlighted 1 poem so that's it. Not too bad, readable to the end.

Absolutely beautiful

I read this wanting to see if I should give this to a friend bc her favorite color is yellow. Honestly this was just so beautiful and raw from beginning to end. It even reminded me of two characters from my favorite book series (After by Anna Todd). The fact that it’s his debut is so cool and I just hope he continues writing.

I thought this was a cute collection, but some of the poems were just too short. The poems that were long we stood out more. Would recommend if you are a fan of r h sin or if you’re looking to support a smaller poet
