This one was so good! It was also really emotional. I think it was the perfect end to the series and the epilogue was absolute perfection!

No tengo nada malo que decir de este libro, me hizo llorar, me hizo reír, un buen final para esta serie, un epílogo hermoso que me hizo llorar aún más.

Es de esos libros que se quedarán conmigo para siempre.

Zack and Denise

Zack is traded to the NY stingers from Dallas after he walks in on his wife and best friend together. The only thing he wants is his son who is fighting cancer. He requests NY because that’s where the best cancer doctor is, Dr. Denise. Denise is max’s sister and he would do anything for her. Once Zack gets traded and he finds out about Jack, Max sets up the meeting even though it’s more of an ambush. Denise has never had problems turning down patients relatives but Zack is the exception.

Parents:: zack and Denise
Kids:: jack (from zacks previous marriage), Joshua, and Elizabeth

Something So Unscripted is Natasha Madison's best book to date. As not only did it pull me in from the very first page, but it completely consumed me. And with a storyline that was beautiful, heartfelt, raw, emotional and honest, it's no wonder I devoured and loved every moment of it.

Which is why I would happily recommend it to others. As it really was a fantastic story.

I think I cried through the last third of this book. It was so beautifully written. Childhood cancer is a tough subject and Natasha Madison really did it justice. There was still hockey and romance but this book largely focused on Jack and his battle.

Zack moves to New York after he finds his wife in bed with his, now former, best friend and teammate. He is determined to get his son, Jack, the best care possible, and it just so happens that his new teammate Max’s sister is the best pediatric oncologist out there.

Denise takes Jack on as a new patient. Her connection with Jack is so instant and so much more than a patient/doctor relationship. Soon she’s spending all her free time with Jack, and lusting after Zack, who is a wonderful father trying desperately to save his son.

Zack and Denise have instant chemistry but because of the nature of their relationship, he’s her patient’s father and her brother’s teammate, they fight to remain professional.  Despite being burned by his ex, who is a truly awful person, Zack finds it easy to fall for Denise and her caring so much for his son is just the icing on the cake.

I loved all the relationships in this book. There were so many secondary relationships going it it could have taken away from Zack and Denise, but it didn’t. I loved Zack’s parents, especially his mother. This was the perfect wrap up for this series and a great segue into the spin off with the Stone kids.
