I am so excited to get my hands on the next installment. Finding out more about the bloodwitch and his back ground was so interesting. I also love the magic system in these books.

This book was everything I’d hoped it would be and more. Ugh!

Read 2:
Yes, I love this series, but where are the happy moments?? In this instalment it felt like from start to finish every single character was hurt, attacked, tortured, kidnapped or killed.
There was the shortest reunion of all time in the end before everyone was ripped apart again and I remember exactly one happy moment.
These characters deserve better!!

Original review:
This series just gets better and better!!

This gave me ALL the feels and I never wanted it to end!

So many new twists, revelations, mysteries, sooo much action, evolving relationships, desperate flights, ancient magic rediscovered, I LOVED IT ALL!!!!

This is the book I have been waiting for from this series. The pairings were better than in previous books, but this could be because the stakes were raised a lot more. I'm just truly satisfied compared to how I felt when finishing Windwitch. Susan Dennard gets better every time.

Thank you, Net Galley, for an advanced copy of this book.

It has nothing to do with how good or bad the book is but I couldn’t tell you anything that happened.

Yes, that is how I felt after I finished this wonderful book. Probably how I felt while listening to it as well. Eh, it was amazing and everyone should join this series. No, really - I mean it! Slowly, but surely, things start to make even more sense. It's like me finally understanding every scientific thing. I doubt that would EVER happen but just know that things were all clicking into place.

Aeduan, my mysterious and struggling boy, ugh - so adorable! I didn't even think I wanted to know more about my precious boy but he needs to be protected at all costs. Especially from my heart. Then there's Iseult - and boy, I SHIPPED THEM FROM DAY ONE.

Low-key, but not really, I screamed for joy when they finally realized allllll the damn feelings. It was about god damn time - I probably would've been pissed if I never got it. Besides being happy, this book took my on an emotional roller coaster. Not fun because I felt like I was pregnant or something - couldn't focus on emotion because each character was turning me into a monster.

Overall, definitely loved this book and I am so freaking happy that I finally dove into.
