A cute, quick read. This was just what I needed after reading a very heavily emotional book.
Milo works at a wildlife refuge and meets Meno, who is applying for a job. He is very attracted to her and questions whether he will be able to keep things professional but hires her. While they are cleaning up, they find an old bottle with what appears to be a treasure map inside.
Meno convinces Milo to search the clues with her. Will they find gold, or will the real treasure be falling in love?.

I didn’t like this one at all. I know it is set in a Christmas town but there’s literally no mention of Christmas or Christmasy things at all. I know a quick novella is rushed usually, but this had too much going on and it just didn’t work for me. I mean I swear these people got engaged after two days it seemed. But now I’m annoyed because I want to read the next one, the ending of this one has me wanting to know more about the next couple.
This is such an original novella. I haven't read anything like it in a while. The story is so good!
Milo works as a marine biologist and needs help cleaning around the tanks. Meno asks for an application and soon both are struck by their feelings. While working they find a treasure hunt map and set sail to find the lost treasure. However, during their adventure lines are blurred and they can't seem to keep their hands to themselves. They have some steamy scenes and some over the top scenes, but it is hands down an insta-love story. I can't wait for Milo's sister's story.

Love at first sight story set in Candy Cane Key. Not as much Christmas festival in the one. Now need to read Robin and Soren's story!.

Milo is a marine biologist working in a wildlife refuge, Meno comes in one day with a mother and son with an axolotl emergency. While there she decides to pick up an application and Milo hires her on the spot. On her first day they find a bottle with a riddle in it on the beach, they come to the conclusion that it is a treasure map. Meno is determined to find the treasure so they set off to follow the clues.
I enjoyed reading Milo and Meno’s story. It was fast paced and fun with a generous sprinkling of spice. I particularly liked the treasure hunt aspect. This is very much an insta-love story, which is a trope I’m not overly fond of. I would have preferred if a little more time had passed between when Milo hired Meno and when they found the message in a bottle. I would have found it more realistic if they had spent some time working side by side while trying to resist their mutual attraction.
