Um. wow. art needs to prepare us for tenderness... chekhov's words... i'm really, really feeling that after reading this.
i think it's just that sometimes you are reading stories in your local library on a random wednesday and then after you feel compelled to call everyone you love and tell them that you love them. and if you have that feeling after reading a story... it was a good story. i feel broken open!
