This book was so cute and relaxing to read. It felt like watching a gay Hallmark movie. But with more gay sex. :)
The initial romance between the two was a little unbelievable at first, but as they got to know each other it felt less forced and more natural.

Pepper often talks about her dead caregiver and struggles with grief. This book handles it well and it’s not too harsh/upsetting, but I could understand someone not wanting to read that during a romantic comedy. Some of the sex scenes leave little to the imagination, but there is no violent sex/kinks or rape/sexual assault.

This book was a delightful and quick romance read. Is it literary genius? No.  But the dialogue was realistic, the characters lovable and their story engaging. Sure you could find plot holes or whatever if you were looking for them, but that's not why you read a book like this! I loved reading this book, and love to see a sapphic-neurospicy romance!

I got this as an audio ARC, which is usually a gimme when it comes to queer romance, but the writing didn't quite jive with me and I honestly didn't really like the characters. I finally stopped because I felt like the plot was moving along in a really disjointed way from how I perceived the characters should have acted.
