Even though she gave a whole spiel about it, this title honestly wasn’t a good choice for the book. It just kind of was random, though she said she spent months on it. It’s not symbolic enough.
Anywaysss the book was good. It was actually crazy how much I saw myself in Opal. It’s like the book was written with me as a character.
I also like the neurodivergent representation that doesn’t misrepresent or kind of feast on the audience. It was some valid representation.

This was ok - sweet & spicy. I'd love to say it was a nice and chilled out escape from reality, but it was a tad too depressing for that. However, nicely written!

This was.... fine. I liked it at the beginning, but unlike other romances I didn't feel excited and compelled to rush through it in. I was pretty bored by the end. The thing is that I really liked Opal and Pepper, but I didn't really love them together. They just seem incapable of communicating with each other, and that's such a red flag for me.

This was great! It’s almost 400 pages long, but doesn't feel that way at ALL. I blinked and I was at 54%, and I literally ended up reading this in like…an hour and 40 minutes. It was a very sweet and emotional love story and I liked the side characters a lot as well. And I'll always support a story that promotes the “FUCK shitty parents” agenda.
