Unfortunately, this book really lacked that OOMF that a lot of other sapphic romance novels have. The character development in this is really all over the place. We're supposed to imagine Opal as someone who is a people pleaser but then spends the rest of the book showing a completely different personality. While yes there are some steamy scenes, they didn't really FEEL steamy or have a lot of well-written out chemistry and whatnot.

This book is fine but I wouldn't say you need to read it before a bunch of other really amazing books.
