A cute book! I appreciated that the third act breakup was basically interrupted, because I was getting annoyed with Opal and her reasoning. I did like the basic premise and liked seeing Opal and Pepper’s relationship grow. I listened to it and kept getting confused on which character was narrating, but that was on me for not being the most attentive!

Sweet sapphic romance with lovely neurodivergent rep, but I struggled to stay fully engaged. I wanted to love it, and parts were genuinely heartwarming, but it just didn’t fully click for me.
