this was a random library hold that ended up being surprisingly sweet! I appreciated the representation of neurodivergence without making it A Thing™️. instead, it was just part of each characters’ arc and helped me understand their motivations better. there was a great blend of plot and character info, and I truly did learn a lot about flower farming lol. I think the side characters were well-developed and added to the plot in meaningful ways. will I pick it up to reread in the future? I’m not sure. but I know I enjoyed it while I was in it!

Oh my goodness! This book is wonderful. A true ode to the town I call home. It’s fantastic how much care went into this. These girls are full of so much love and fun. Their journey is deeply relatable and honestly was super helpful in me figuring out some of my own budding feelings.

Late Bloomer is the definition of a cozy romance with heart, humor, and just the right amount of emotional depth. I loved the small-town flower farm setting, the quirky and lovable side characters, and the rich representation woven throughout. Opal and Pepper are total opposites, but watching them clash, connect, and grow—both individually and together—was so satisfying. The slow build of their relationship, combined with all the personal growth and soft moments, made this such a warm, feel-good read that still packed an emotional punch.
