French Wanker is another of those cases where it’s me, not the book. I’m sure some will enjoy this, but it wasn’t for me.
The main reason I couldn’t get into this one is because it was a case of instalove, and it’s something I’m not a fan of. I much prefer slow burn, and instalove is something I tend to avoid. With the characters falling in deep so quickly, I found it difficult to get into the story.

I love French accents so I picked this one up on AE. The narration was wonderful. The story was entertaining but a bit too instalove for me. Also everything came their way easily and all loose ends were wrapped up quickly and perfectly (a bit too perfectly for me). But it was worth the read/listen.
