My first ABO book. Enjoyed it a lot, more than I expected. It's not something I would've gone looking for, but a conveniently timed Instagram ad brought me here, and I'm glad it did. I think I'll try reading more of her books in the future :)

Another great read written by Lexa Luthor. This time her first standalone f/f omegaverse G!p book. It was exactly want I wanted. The kink part was okay.....

Reading this after Of Wolf and Wynd is a little bit disappointing because I didn't like the setting and the characters as much in this one. Aubrey was great but Kinsey was a bit wishy washy for my taste.

Because of the slave/royal match, most of the book is tense, the sex scenes take too much space in such a short book for my taste and the sweet (kinda) moments were reserved at the very end of the book. I think the book would benefit from more pages to get the whole story out.

Even though, I did not enjoy it as much as the next book in the series, I like Lexa Luthors writing so I'll pick up her other series to see what I think of it.

I enjoyed this, mostly. I picked it up because I always enjoy this narrator and I was curious when I realized it was essentially an A/B/O story, which I’ve never encountered outside of fanfic. It’s not a trope that I’ve ever particularly gravitated towards (mostly because of its prevalence in mlm slash fic) but I thought I’d give this one a go. I’ll admit, my only experience with the trope is with stories actually featuring werewolves, and I was surprised when that wasn’t the case here. I didn’t really connect with either main character quite enough, and I found their dynamic a little lacking. They just seemed to be attracted to each other because of the trope, mostly. That said, it held my attention, the narration was as wonderful as always, and it was a perfectly fine time. I think it just left me wanting a little more on both character and plot fronts.
