The worst so far of all the book. My favourite character so far -Myrnin- has been turned into a badly written sweet-loony. Claire is supposed to be a geek, a book lover and all so clever and physics-wise. Well she was written badly in all these things. She disregards English literature (and has read very little), is a biased book reader (and has read very little), more naive by each new book and her physics knowledge just goes against the wall when its obvious it should be used.
The worst of all is that she is in the middle of conflicts and misunderstandings and never clarifies them, even when -every time- she is given time to speak, and she does not. ..... I will continue the series only because of a bet to do so.

So that’s how it’s gonna go, huh? End in pure chaos with everything in flux?
Vamp wars, human and vamp casualties, betrayal, did I mention chaos? Lies, deceit? Ulterior motives. Pandemonium.

Amelie disappears, no one knows anything. Buildings are burning. Our A Team is split up to guard different areas. Pissed off humans not okay with the status quo are making their move. Shane’s dad shows up. Oliver is hurt. Richard is hurt. Myrnin is oscillating between sane and unhinged. Claire gets bit.

I think on book 2 maybe I said something about how there wasn’t a lot of detail but guessed it was because at only 200-300 pages ish a book, you have to build in each one. And that’s what Rachel did. I am so tired lol but of course I shall go right into book 6 after a shower.

This series is excellent - perhaps a bit slow at the start but please press forward.
