But this one managed to do it.
Amazon said this was book 2/2, so I went into it expecting all of the tension of Book 1 to be resolved. The girl gets saved, the relationships get sorted out, the home is rebuilt.. we done, right?
I WAS SO WRONG!!
This is actually book 2 of 3, so it also ends on a cliffhanger. And between resolving Book 1’s cliffhanger and setting the stage for Book 3, the author masterfully builds so much tension while simultaneously making us fall head over heels in love with Eden’s five men all over again.. this time in new and exciting ways.
So many new. And exciting. Ways. Y’all the spice was SPICIN in this one.
I also deeply enjoyed the exploration of mental health, and how the men cared for and supported Eden as she struggled with her choices so far.
And let’s just say… Beaumont Bennett can play doctor with me any time.

This Book Owns Me, Hands Down It’s My Favorite This Year
Quote:📖
I am prepared to do anything to live, to thrive. I survived.
Thoughts: 💡
I’m still struggling to contextualize just how deeply and profoundly this book has rocked me. This is hands down my favorite book of the year. The emotional depth of these characters is astounding, the first book was beautifully written with some emotionally gripping sections, but this one was so much better. Jasper’s inner monologue on the symphony of sound, Beau’s doctor games, Dom’s rules, Licky’s Pranks, Jayk’s slowly thawing heart, Eden’s fury and character development, Beau with the cheese, and chapter’s 44-48 🔥. To be perfectly honest I had over 200 highlights in the text and even more bookmarks in the audiobook. And yes, you do need both of those experiences.
Writing Mechanics: ✍️
I will never be able to hype this book or audio enough. It’s brilliantly written and well crafted, and the narration is on point. One of the notes I made for myself while reading was that Ensnared was built around Eden’s quiet strength, while Entangled is about her quiet fury.
There are a multitude of moving parts to the plot and so many deeply developed and diverse characters. This book had me laughing, crying, and super 😉 on a repeating cycle.

This is book 2, you need to read book one before this.
There isn’t a cliffhanger, but prepare yourself for the ending. This isn’t the end of the series, so the end of this book…. Well, you’ll see.
