Fake dating this guy so she has leverage to later ask for his sperm for her lesbian sister (who has never even met this guy - just thinks he'll have good sperm). GROSS. She refers to his sperm as baby batter. GROSS.

Very very cute story. I love the characters this author creates. They are always magic. There is humor and it is always guaranteed to make me laugh. There were steamy moments and a deep connection as they progressed in their feelings from fake to real. I liked the gradual progression. Fantastic secondary characters too.

This is definitely a story that makes the audience feel good.

Cute fun read; steamy with some kink thrown in.

Our hero, Shepherd Calloway, is in need of a fake girlfriend and hires his assistant to help with the ruse. After spending time together and getting to know one another outside of a business setting, they start to see each other in a new light, feelings are caught, and the relationship starts to feel more real than fake for both of them. Some unnecessary (I think) drama had to be thrown in to up the stakes and I ended up docking a star because of that.

Still, this was a cute story and Claire is one of my favorite romance authors. Looking forward to reading more about the Dirty Martini Running Club and from Claire in the future.

Okay listen. This book was SUPER CLICHE but it was cute!!!! (Spoilies)

They were so compatible (ESPECIALLY SEXUALLY I DONT CARE) it made me feel like I was reading a movie

Did the sperm donor thing make me roll my eyes? Yes, of COURSE. OF COURSE he would find the paperwork she put in her desk like. A smart person would've brought that shit HOME but we needed conflict (or did we??)

WAIT its actually weird her sister asked her to ask her BOSS to donate his sperm. Like in what world is that okay LMAO

I'm apparently in a romcom phase LMAO

I loved this so much! Everly and Shepherd grabbed me from page one and I was in love with them.

They are very much grumpy sunshine but shepherd had a way bigger heart than he liked to show. And Everly is one of those people who seems like just a happy go lucky girl but she gets things done.

Their fake relationship was pretty much perfection. I love the way their romance built up. Just so so good.
