I read this collection of poetry and I don't see a listing of it on Good Reads. I hope Dane Figueroa Edidi doesn't mind that I added it.

I am absolutely in love with this poetry. I found myself reading every poem out loud. There's power in this poetry and I effing love it! I honestly can't pick one poem that I like more than another. I just found myself connecting with every single one.

Much of the trans related imagery is something I connected with on a deep level. It reminded me of when I was a young trans doing slam poetry in college, and it just feels right to read this collection. I know slam poetry isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if that's the kind of poetry you like this is not a book to miss.

As a white transwoman I find it valuable to read good work from POC transwomen. I want to understand all of our experiences as much as possible. I first found Dane Figueroa Edidi in an anthology that I read. I loved that book, but honestly I love this book more.

There's some grammar mistakes, and this is definitely a self published work. But I don't think that holds back how good the poetry in this book is.
