evil book. gross and gratuitous with pedophilic mindset. unnecessary homophobia. written like a fanfic at certain points and Rebus is obviously an author self-insert. most of my annotations were edits.

I get that its supposed to be gritty and noir, but the sexism, fat shaming and men-writing-women depiction of the women in this book are not it. Also the way the main character describes ogling his eleven y/o daughter is disgusting.
