Better than the first in the sense that Kova was less predatory. This one had a little too many technical gymnastics terms in it for me personally, but I’m sure gymnasts will appreciate them! I saw the twist with Avery from a mile away but not Joy. On to the next!

I fell for this beautiful, Russian man, who slowly destroyed me, and I had no one to blame but myself.

✦Thoughts✦
Omg. Respectfully what the ever loving fuck. I’m so unwell right now after finishing this one. Like how am I supposed to move on and function after that ending?! I was freaking out for the entire last 15-20%!

Ugh these two and these books are crack.

Adrianna is in over her head with her Coach Kova. Trust is broken, lies & secrets are revealed, and a huge life altering truth bomb is dropped in yet another very shocking cliffhanger!

The spice in this book is written flawlessly! You just have to experience it to believe it! It’s so hot! I love this author’s writing style and will continue to buy any and all of her books!

“There was something downright magnetic about Kova that drew me to him. An allure, a fascination. And something as powerful and as captivating as him could only ever end in utter destruction.”

This series continues to have a damn choke hold on me. I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF IT. This book was just as addicting as the first one.

At what point is it ok to punch a fictional character in the damn throat because I only need one good, swift one for Kova. My annotations in this book ARE RIDICULOUS.

So much happens in this book & Ria goes through a lot. My heart broke for her. Kova really had me over here ready to fight him on sight. Men really do be having the audacity.

Good read—enjoyed it a lot more than book one.
