It's my second book by Heather and again I couldn't stop reading it. Just like with Behind the Lens the story created by her pulled me in straight away and characters were so believable that I was feeling every single emotion together with them.

In here we meet London and Blake. At the beginning they have a simply business relationship. But this changes quickly. Very quickly. One drunken night after a signing and drunken sex created connections, feelings that none of them expected to have.

London to avoid those feelings decided to sneak out and forget the night through avoidance. Which didn't end well as Blake was her main model for her newest series. And as life or maybe destiny wants, they are always ending up meeting.

Blake, as a manwhore, decided to simply get rid of London from his system by sleeping with other women. But even for a playboy like him, forgetting London was difficult.

Two totally different people, with different but also complicated and not easy past. Both of them had it rough and needed something or someone to escape the past.

I really enjoyed the book, I still love Jax and Kallie most but London and Blake are fun and sexy as hell couple!!!

5 amazing, steamy stars! ❤️

I fell for Blake in Behind the Lens. I know he was a Mut then but you could feel that there was something so much more to him. You also know he would do absolutely anything for those he considers family. In the end those you love are all that matter.

London is such a sweet girl but you feel horrible for everything she has endured.....

Thanks Heather for another great book and can't wait for Behind the Lies!!

Sometimes you can't outrun the past no matter how hard you try.

London Tweed is running from her past. She has changed her name and moved across the country to escape her ex-fiancé Axel. She has become a very successful writer but stays to herself to prevent anyone from getting close to her.

Blake Foster is a model and poses for one of London's books. On a work trip to New York, London and Blake end up in bed together after a night of drinking, none of which she remembers.

Blake wants London but she is scared of her past. Will she allow him to get closer and when London's best friend Shannon inadvertently allows the past to catch up with London will she survive what the past has in store for her?

I love Blake!! He is the kind of guy that every girl wants and up until meeting London has had. I loved his caring nature and the alpha side of him! I felt so much for London and the scars that she carries from everything she has escaped from and completely understand why she continues to keep herself so guarded.

The characters that surround London and Blake are all incredible and the group of friends is so strong and loyal to each other. I love how they become family for London and support what she is going through.
