This was a good book, but the all the marketing about furies colliding is rubbish. The main character gets quite grumpy at times, but not really angry. Also half the stuff in the blurb occurs around three quarters of the way through the book.

This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. Especially because it’s about a creepy, evil witch.

Rhe entirety of the book was nice, not boring and entertaining, but the ending wasn't satisfying at all.

A mother's love and journey for revenge. I fell in love with the characters right off the bat. Amazing storyline with a twist at the end you wouldn't believe

"CRONE #1, out this Wednesday from Dark Horse Comics is all the proof we need that one can never truly outrun their pasts. Dive into a dark and brutal tale, one that twines the past and the present together.
A new dynamic team has gotten together to bring us Dark Horse’s latest dark epic, Crone. Dennis Culver (writer) takes the helm, with Justin Greenwood (artist) and Brad Simpson (colorist) setting the bloody tone of the series itself.
Crone #1 introduces us to Bloody Bliss, a warrior of legend – and one who has moved to the mountains for retirement. Or a bloody death, it’s hard to tell. But even the greatest of warriors can’t hide from the fight. And the past is always waiting to get dug up again."

Picked up this title because I am a big fan of Xena. I felt the 1st issue was slim. It needed more. But, perhaps it will get better slowly.
