i’d really hoped to love this :/ could make a long rant on it but essentially: confusing, messy world building, boring mystery, and zero chemistry between Mossa and Pleiti. a novella is too short for a second chance romance, at least this one.

Honestly, a mystery story (cozy or otherwise) set on a space station is total catnip for me. There was never a world in which I was going to resist this book, especially by an author I already know I like.

To be honest, the narrative style did feel a bit distancing at first, but once I was immersed in it I literally could not put this down, not even to pet the cat or get enough sleep for work the next day.
