I really didn't enjoy this and I'm so disappointed. The narration was nonexistent, the style was not my thing and the writing was very immature. I didn't feel a voice in this, other than the "queer knowledge" that felt preachy and was always delivered in a big speech. I managed it for 100 pages but after that I just skimmed most of it. The story itself is also almost nonexistent, every point is very predictable and the characters felt so fake.
I understand that this was a very personal story for the author (as an aroace person I *understand*), but this just wasn't it for me. I was hoping this would be a book I could recommend to friends to explain my sexuality, but I am not doing that with this one. There has to be something better out there.

4.5 stars!
genuinely one of, if not the most relatable books i've ever read -- i truly don't think i've felt as seen in a character than i have in georgia in a longggg time (probably because this is one of very few books i've read with a (canonically) aroace protagonist
