Some really chilling moments, some unnecessary aspects that could have been cut, but overall a good, dark read.

This book missed the mark for me. It wasn't paced well and the mystery of the plot didn't quite curl all the way over for me. I'm still confused by the main character. Something was missing here. It wasn't quite mystery and there's not really anything "great" about it. Just okay.

this was a really thrilling yet introspective look at toxic friendships, manipulation and greed. The honey trapping scheme is in some ways well intentioned and in others destined to result in violence and pain

The beginning was very slow. I was going to DNF this but picked it back up because it was recommended for fans of the movie Saltburn. The second half of the book is a lot better. 3.5/5
