I enjoyed this book, and I think I would have loved it if I read it in my 20s. Preferred Reid's first book.

I’m torn writing this review as I actually quite enjoyed listening to this book, but I do agree with the common criticism that the character development was just a bit shallow.

This novel weaves through the relationship of sisters Eleanor and Charlie, and their intertwined love lives. It’s a very character-driven novel and overall an enjoyable read.

If you’re looking for a novel which has depth and discusses complicated themes, I don’t think that this is the book for you. However it’s an fun read and still worth picking up in my opinion.

Excited to read Love & Virtue

If you enjoyed Reid’s previous book, Love & Virtue, then you’ll likely enjoy this. Each character had a distinct voice and the novel was constructed beautifully. I lost a bit of momentum towards the end of the book, but I still enjoyed the book.

Diana Reid’s books are so great and this is no exception. I gave a 4 because it didn’t have as much of a storyline as her first book. I didn’t love the characters. The flaws of the characters is the major part of the book
I love how modern Reid’s books are. It feels more familiar and relatable. Easy reading, definitely worthwhile

Diana Reid has once again managed to write a novel that captures the exact feelings of experiences I have had in my life. Seeing Other People felt so familiar, like I was reading a memory. Also the first novel I have read that describes post lockdown life, a very strange experience. One of my top reads this year so far, I miss my sharehouse :(((((
