I really enjoyed this story, I was worried that starting on book 4 in a series that I would be missing parts, and whilst I probably missed out on the characters in previous stories I didn’t feel like I was missing anything from Sage and Jax’s story!
I think for me this book was really refreshing because you don’t often read about the female lead having all the money like Sage does and I really loved that side to this book. I loved the setting for the story too; it was a nice summery read!
Jax and Sage probably shouldn’t work but they totally did! I loved the chemistry between them! Having the dual POV made this an even better read for me as I felt like I fully understood both of the characters.
The writing of the book was great, beautiful descriptions of the beaches made me feel like I was almost there – the pace and flow of the story was great. For my first read by this author I was really impressed and I will definitely be looking to read more from her and about the Beach Squad in the future!
