These boys are just adorable. Coming into this book after LOVING Garron Park, I was excited to see where their lives were headed and what was going to happen.

Maddox and Devon. These men have been through so much, have very little, yet realize that all they need are each other. This book takes you on a ride. From the fighting and competition turning to love and yearning, my heart broke when they were separated (by circumstances Jim set into motion) and I found myself also yearning for them to be reunited.

Their relationship is not traditional. They fight. Hit. Shove. Compete. However, their love, lust and commitment to each other is unmatched. Together (with the help of family) this does have a HEA.

The side characters are great in this one.

HELL YEAH!! What a conclusion! God this was a Rollercoaster for real. Every high was hit with a low til the very end. Maddox and Devon weathering through it all made me love them even more. They're not the kindest to each other but they fit so well and you can still feel the love they have for each other. Maddox was sass king he made me laugh so many times and as Devon says swoon. Devon my disaster boy he wants so desperately to be better but he doesn't always quite get there. He makes dumb decisions but always out of love and protectiveness even if it backfires like 90% of the time. How they deal with Jim was kinda iconic tbh. It easily couldve been anticlimactic but it was cathartic. Maddox really uttered one of the romantic lines and I lowkey swooned. He said, "I will not let you sit in the dark alone." Like holy shit. I love the Ending so much like those are my boys. Anyway, there a few things like a few thoughts felt slightly repetitive, but honestly just a blast of a book to read.

i liked the first one better, but
it was nice to see them all domestic and getting married :)

maybe it's because i wasn't concentrating enough, but i didn't really understand the part with
gary and jim and all these people, why they even did what they did, etc.
