I thought the reveal about who and what Natasa is was well written. It carried on throughout the book, instead of knowing everything within the first 50 pages.

However, the editing in this one was the worst of the series. Character names misspelled, missing words, missing punctuation.

I love the Eternal Guardians series. There is something about this band of uber Alph Argonauts that makes you love them no matter what they say or do. As the series started, the guardians were battling Atlanta in her bid to take over the human realm and beat Zeus, Hades and whoever else in her goal to rule on high. But as the climax to that battle came to an end in Grphyon's book (Enlaved) I wondered how much I was going to like where the storyline was going with Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. I like the overall theme with the almighty Olympic God and his brothers locked in a battle isn't any better than what Atlanta was attempting to do.

At the end of Enslaved, Titus found he was drawn to the mysterious red-haired woman that was looking for Maelea. As Bound starts, he's spent months looking for her because she's the only person in over a hundred years who's mind he hasn't been able to read and who's touch doesn't bring him unsurmountable pain. Where he least expected to find her was at the Argolean castle in the middle of a celebration. But as suspicions about who she works for and what's she's after, Titus is willing to follow Natasa...no matter what.
Natasa sees herself as unstable. The daughter of Prometheus, she's determined to find her father so he can remove the "gift" he so gratefully bestowed upon her. Having an Argonaut tag along on her journey is not what she anticipated, but there is something about Titus the soothes the fire that rages in her. Despite not wanting to get involved, she can't help herself and she vows to not be the downfall of Titus.

There was a lot going on in the story, other than the main storyline between Titus and Natasa. There was the brother competition between Zeus, Poseidon and Hades, the family dynamics with Hades, Persephone and their son, and the soul mate triangle between Isadora, Demetrius and Nick. While all those elements had their place and helped either move the storyline along or set up a storyline down the road, it felt like it took away from Titus and Natasa...especially towards the end of the book. Their story seemed a bit rushed and it left me feeling like I lost an important part of their story.

I enjoyed Titus. He was smart, sexy, and overly protective when it came to Natasa. He didn't start out not liking her, like most of the other Argonauts and their women, but knew pretty quickly that this woman was something special and he was going to do whatever it took to keep her by his side. He was willing to throw away the Argonauts for her and THAT made me love him.

I didn't feel that same connection with Natasa. She was a bit weird, which is understandable given what she had endured. She flip flopped between being standoffish and rude to being the sweetest girl you've ever met. She was rash and didn't always think things through, even when she thought she was doing something for the good of someone else. It made her hard to read and had me wanting (at times) for Titus just to leave her and go about his business.

Not my favorite of the Eternal Guardians series, but still a worthwhile read...if for nothing else that she see the drama that unfolds with Isadora, Demetrius and Nick.

The Argonauts continue their search for the elements to complete the Orb of Kronos as Titus fights his attraction to Natasa, a mysterious woman who seems to be the only one able to overcome the curse that prevents him from touching others without experiencing horrific pain.

Unfortunately, this installment in the Eternal Guardians series is a big disappointment. The romance at the center of the story between Titus and Natasa is mediocre at best. Their chemistry is lackluster and it is difficult to care what about what happens to them one way or the other.

That said, the developments in the ongoing storyline of the conflict between the Argonauts and the Greek gods are excellent and make this book well worth the read. Naughton's skillful merging of Greek mythology into the plot is incredible and the updates on secondary characters are gripping.

Nick's book is next and the short glimpse at what lies in store for him is very tantalizing. Looking forward to it.

Well, I'm one of those people who just didn't get into this story and did not buy the main couple's romance. I want to rate it lower...and maybe should...but the parts of the story not about them were good and worth the read so I guess I'll stick with my three stars.

Honestly, I was kind of bored with Titus's story and it actually made me angry at times with what he does. Obviously having met Natasa in the last book, he has spent pretty much all of his free time searching for her while hiding out in his room saying he's still not 100%. But that only lasts until this party of sorts at the castle where Isadora is to make a speech about Atalanta being dead and Maelea being the one who killed her. Everybody's there...the Argolean people, the council, the Argonauts, the misos...and Natasa. They have no idea what she is, only that she has a lot of power in her. So when she's found out about visiting with Maelea, she ends up getting chased. And with Titus being the front runner. As she flees she ends up taking him with her and pulling him into the mess that is her life. She was seeking out Maelea for information because she is running out time before that which is inside her will destroy the world. Or so everybody thinks. Between Amazons, Zagreus and Hades they sure have their work cut out for them just to survive. And with the fever burning hotter each day inside of Natasa things only get harder. To prevent the worst from happening, Natasa takes her own life in her hands but Titus refuses to let her go. He completes the mission she had been on, but as it turns out it didn't really matter. Things had been planned out well and the outcome is that she can control her power. Which is even strong enough to repel Zeus and Poseidon. Being accepted as Titus's soul mate she becomes one of their family and with that comes their protection. Plus because of her, now the Argonauts have a powerful Titan on their side. Let the hunt for the last element begin.

Okay so, like I said, Titus kind of pissed me off here. In the other books he seemed like a fun happy go lucky kind of guy. Sure he hated hearing everybody's thoughts but he seemed pretty okay with life. But from the minute he could touch Natasa and not be bombarded by pain and emotion, he became obsessed with her. It was very off putting. And I really hated how he treated Theron and lied to everybody. And how he got so angry about how they "used" him to hear peoples's thoughts? Really? If he had such a problem with using his gift to do his freakin' job he should have just said so. I did really like the last thing he said to Theron though
SpoilerI think it's absolutely fantastic that Casey is pregnant!
.

Now the good parts. We were not done with the triangle between Demetrius, Isadora, and Nick. At the party I mentioned before, Nick lets his anger get the best of him and he does something, that while he didn't regret it, was definitely a bad idea and really got Demetrius mad. Soon enough the anger between them reaches it's limit and it's only Isadora putting them both in their place that makes Nick realize he didn't understand what tied Demetrius and Isadora together until that moment. And now he's done. He doesn't want to lead, he doesn't want to make the important decisions, and he doesn't want people depending on him. But before he can make it too far away that damn bond he has to Isadora pulls him back because she's in a lot of pain. Here comes the baby. Unfortunately there are complications and Nick makes a deal that will take us to his book. We also find out about his real parentage which was a shocker for sure.

One thing that I can't help but wonder about is the physical connection between Isadora, Casey and Callia. I understand the one between Isadora and Casey because all of their lives their health has been dependent on the other. It had NEVER affected Callia until we found out the king was her dad and she was part of the Horae. So why all of a sudden, simply with new information, does the health of Isadora and Casey affect her just as much? To me, it just seems inconsistent and convenient for the sake of the story.

This is the BEST of the series. All of the characters wrapped into this story. I cannot describe the story but for one word. HOT. The plot. The sex. The characters. Natasa. You will not understand this story without reading the rest of the series, so hurry, read them all, quickly, right now! So you can read the explosive story here.

This was good, just not as good as previous ones. I didn't connect with the characters as much as I have with her other books. I don't think I liked the ending. Still good and I'll continue on with the series. I'm looking forward to see what happens with Nick.

I don't know about this one. While I liked the MCs, my main issue is with the actual world. The lack of true brotherhood or real friendship between the so-called heroes--the Argonauts. I don't think any of them like each other. They certainly don't know anything about each other. I don't get it.

This installment was Titus and Natasa's journey. We met them towards the end of the last book and I felt their chemistry immediately. They are both likable characters, so I was intrigued as they tried to decipher the other's secrets.

We got to learn that Titus, from Odysseus's descendant, was gifted with the power to read thoughts. That gift was enhanced when he used it to trick a witch into his bed. Now when he touches people he can hear their thoughts and feel all their emotions as well. So it is quite the curse now.

Natasa is a descendant of Poseidon and bears a gift within herself from daddy dearest that makes her a prize to the Olympians. So now, she is hunted by both the Titans and the Olympians.

In a secondary plot, Isadora is pregnant but still caught between her husband Demetrius and Nick, who both claim soul bonds with her. I remember Nick being Demetrius twin brother, but I don't see why he has a bond if he isn't an identical twin. (they have different father's but same mothers). Hera's curse is supposed to make the Hero fall in love with a woman who bares characteristics he normally would despise. (For instance, in book one, Theron disliked humans, but of course he fell in love with Casey.). Here I get why Demetrius and Isadora were paired, but I don't get why Nick was included because now it's saying you can choose NOT to go with Bond but choose a mate of our own. So choice is stronger than Bond?

I think I could enjoy this series more if there was a kinship, friendship or more warmth when the brotherhood dealt each other. There is no team, just a bunch of individuals doing their own thing. Can't we all just get along?

Titus, part of the order of the Eternal Guardians, has for the longest time has been unable to bear another's touch on his skin, or feel every emotion and be splintered with pain. He has been having dreams of the one woman who he can bear her touch, and he knows it is doubtful that he will ever see her again. But then he suddenly spots her in the Castle of Argolea. On his way to a meeting with the "Council" he sees a dark haired young woman who looks exactly like the one woman he has been dreaming about at night, hoping one day that he would find her again. When he endeavors to find her, he finds himself to have been drawn into her world. Titus is very powerful, and he knows that Natasa is innocent, that she doesn't mean to hurt or injure others. They begin together on a quest to find the answers that could solve every one's problems, only never expected the danger and intrigue that would come along with it. Natasa knows how dangerous she is, and wants more than anything to have the 'fire' that burns within her and threatens every one's lives, to be rid of. Natasa never expected to find Titus or expect to find such a passionate love that ignites every burning awakened with her....or even a powerful love that would lead her to finding everything she has been aching to have.I was given the ARC to read and then give a honest review in exchange. When I was asked to be a tour host for this book...I was beyond excited. Since I haven't done too many yet. I have been wanting to read this series, but until now had yet to read anything from Elisabeth Naughton. I have to say after reading Bound, I can't believe that I haven't read her yet. For one thing I just love it when Greek Mythology (or any kind of mythology) is mixed in with the story plot. The author writes it in such a way that enthralls the reader from the very first page, and I found it near impossible to put it down. I love the focus and the detail that is very thoroughly portrayed through the story. Even though when I first started reading this, I was a bit lost since I hadn't read the previous books in the series, I did catch on after the first few chapters, and I found myself totally drawn in with the story. I also enjoyed how Naughton puts in serious issues that we all deal with in a paranormal themed romance that helps the reader connect with the characters and the story line in a very real way. The emotions that were so vividly portrayed were so heart wrenching at times, that I did cry a few times. It had such a powerful effect on my emotions, that I felt like I was being overwhelmed at times with a sea of emotional effect that takes you on a adventure to rival any. I also found some great qualities that came with this author's writing, and her unique style will just captivate you and before you know it, you have fallen in love with the story and the characters that will take your breath away. A Poignant and intense love story that will take you places you can only dream about. I am now totally addicted to this story, and I can't wait until I can get my hands on the other works in the series!!! A True Treasure that will excited you and charm you!! Plus how can you resist such a gorgeous cover...with the water trickling down in the sexiest way. Utterly irresistible!!Favorite Quote
"Titus, I--"
He lifted his head, and before she could get the rest of the words out, his lips pressed against hers.
Soft. Cool. Electric. Tingles rushed through her whole body. And when he nipped at her lower lip, when she felt the tip of his tongue slide across the seam of her lips, she gave up the fight. She opened to him.
He was like a waterfall. Like a cool flood of relief, pouring over her skin, easing the burn from the outside in. Rejuvenating her in ways she couldn't imagine.

A perfect mixture of action, romance, Greek Mythology, mystery and steaminess! I had missed the world of the Eternal Guardians! The series is like comfort food! You know its going to be great and you love it! I also love that everyone from the previous books all make an appearance, well, not so much as an appearance but rather they are part of the story!

I've always been intrigued by Titus. He's intelligent, a bit sarcastic, while part of a team, seems to be a loner and there's something sad about him that you know there's more than he's sharing or letting on. Elisabeth (Author) did a great job in setting up his story in "Enslaved" and we had the opportunity to learn a few new things. Could you read "Bound" as a stand alone book? You could, you may be a little lost in the beginning, however, why would you want to? This is a great series!!

A descendant of Odysseus, gifted with the power to read minds and when touched, feels what the other is feeling. One might think this to be a gift indeed, but imagine not being able to touch anyone or have them touch you as it would cause you immense pain.Constantly being bombarded with other's thoughts. Thankfully, the Argonauts have learned to bock their thoughts from Titus, but sometimes, they slip. He also feels used for his gift by Theron and that doesn't sit well with him at all. The question is how far is Titus willing to go for an obsession? The risks are high, but to him they are worth it.

We met Natasa in "Enslaved" as she was trying to meet with Maela in "Enslaved". The instant they met, Titus knew she was different - SILENCE! He couldn't hear her! Nothing, absolutely silent! You know what they say, Silence is Golden (well at least at the AMC theaters). Que in the curiosity and obsession. Now, I can't blame him, if this were to occur to me, I'd be curious and want to know why!

Natasa is on a mission that we don't get to know all the details about right away. Is she an enemy? Can she be trusted? Theron thinks she's dangerous and working with or for the enemy. Titus believes otherwise and of course, he's obsessed with not only finding her but with her in general. Naturally, this difference in opinion is going to cause a rift between Theron and Titus and may even include a rift between the Eternal Guardians as a team.

"Bound" is beautifully written giving fans exactly what they wanted and actually leaves them wanting more! I wanted more Titus! I'm hoping the trend continues and that we will get to see more of him in future books! The author also does a fabulous job of setting things up for the next book. Seems like we will be getting Nick's story next! Wow! That one will most definitely be one interesting and emotion read. Especially knowing how much Elisabeth LOVES to torture her characters! Looking forward to it!

Never read the series before? I highly recommend it! If you're a fan of Greek Mythology or just PNR, you'll enjoy this series! You can check out my "Featured Series: Eternal Guardians" for more information.

Not bad. A little more twisted and controlling from the males. Was great that we get more of the other guardians along with those we've already come to know and the main. There is a little more with gods. Never mind a little surprise at the end. In a way there are a few questions that will most likely be answered in the next book.
