Just loved the third instalment of the DC Grey series. I didn’t want it to finish! This book really tied up all loose ends and answered all the questions that I needed answering! A truly clever beginning that until the last pages I didn’t click to how they interacted with the story.

I don’t want to leave any spoilers so I’ll leave it there. A must read!

Found this book a little boring until 3/4’s of the way in and things started to be explained and pieces together. Pleased I didn’t give up because a few times I was going too stop.

loved Gabriel's perspective, and the fact that Miles and Grey are supportive
so sad about some of the developments though

I had quite enjoyed the first two books about DS Grey. She is a pragmatic hardworking detective. I wasn't sure about this one. I felt like I was battling through it, but not enough to put it to the side. And then there was a "WHAT?!?!?!?" moment and it was all worthwhile.

If you have read the previous books, this ties up some outstanding issues in some rather full on ways, as well a showing nothing and no one is ever black and white.
