I met Jeffrey Kaufman at New York Comic Con 2013, where I purchased a copy of Whore from him. It's taken me this long to read it, but it's definitely an interesting read. Jacob Mars is a well developed character with a checkered and interesting past that has brought him to where he is today. Whore latches onto the concept of what it means to be a hired gun, a sellsword, a stud, or a whore and puts it into modern context. Definitely a worthwhile read!

From the author who brought you Terminal Alice comes a new story about an out on his luck spy who is will to do just about anything to in order to keep the paychecks coming in. I enjoyed the main character, the story and plot devices used. I didn't like the art this time around (which was made by the same person who did Terminal Alice) but I felt the plot was strong enough for me to over this once again. I would suggest this to anyone who enjoys campy yet entertaining spy misadventures in a modern setting.
