I was so hype for this but I got 60 pages in and didn’t feel any reason to continue. There was mild interest, but I guess it just wasn’t for me.

The tone is amazing. I like how it came together but it is a bit of a convoluted route to get there.

Tense, suspenseful and incredibly captivating. Genuinely had to pace myself otherwise I would’ve finished it too quickly.

The ending, while good, was incredibly confusing though. Had to look it up to understand what had happened lol.

A great psychological thriller/horror if you’re into that kinda stuff.

What a book to begin with as I embark on my spooky season. Perfect little horror novel!!! I thought it was so clever, so beautifully written, and I can’t say too much without spoiling. But just WOW. Watching the film now to see how Charlie Kaufman tackles it!
