Another electrifying edition and though not my favourite to date, mostly because of how bloody brutal this all was, (and yeah I know this series is dark and twisted and seriously graphic but this took it all to a whole new level and then some). this was still a great read. I did think my heart was going to give out with the constant stress of it all though, I mean I had to keep taking wellness breaks I was that worried and on edge it was bloody relentless and this carried through till the bitter end.
Saying that i was also totally transfixed and motivated to keep turning them pages and this was as usual a completely immersive experience that drew me in refusing to release its embedded claws. So yes despite some minor grievances i was for sure invested
The majority of this takes place with Warwick and Brexley still incarcerated, my main grievance, so yeh I wasn't overstruck by that scenario, been there, got the t-shirt and I was glad to see the back, it was certainly some tense hard hitting stuff but then I also felt that not a lot of progression was made and we eventually came full circle.
Then there's that finish and man it was another cliffhanger ending making me so glad I'm reading this when this series is complete. I don't think my nerves could take it if I had to wait. I'm now looking forward to how this will all conclude this has been one hell of a ride on the crazy train but the destination is finally in sight and despite a couple of niggles with this book this has been a consistent five-star series all the way baby.

BEST OF THE SERIES
What can I say about this book that won’t spoil anything? Nothing.
It’s beautiful, fast-paced, shocking at every turn… So much happens but nothing felt rushed. Every part of this made this book a perfect read. So much of it was a complete shock, one aspect in particular. I loved that they’re back in prison, since book 1 was my favourite of the series, and I just loved the drama and heartbreak involved in this one.
I can’t believe I’m going into the last one!

Does she put drugs in these books? I have been obsessed since book one. This one was rough. Tears were shed, little bits of happiness shined through, but mostly tears. Istvan is one of the worst villains I have ever read. Stacey does an amazing job of making me feeeeeeel. And Warwick… he’s the blueprint. A god amongst men (and fae). I do hope Brexley gets a happy ending in book 6! March needs to hurry up!!!

"Holy motherforking shirtballs" 🤯
This book made me so angry but I f****** loved it! Omg was this a wild ride of emotions. As much as I LOVED this book, it sure did WRECK me 😭
Once again, Brexley and Warwick are the queen and king of this book and I love them so much.
Their chemistry is off the charts 😈their banter is fantastic, and their ghost link connection is perfection. Sometimes, their ghost link is hotter than the real thing 🤭
I don't even know what else to say without spoiling everything lol This was probably the most "difficult" book to read so far in the series just because so much happens and there's so much trauma! Once again, SMB nails it and made me feel all the feels and made me love the characters even more. Except for Istan. He can go away now.
