The story is really good but the writing is BAD. It’s childish and repetitive for some reason. I’m gonna keep going because the premise of the story is really interesting.

This was the perfect continuation of where Moon Chosen left off. I love it so much, it started beautifully and ended beautifully. We see Mari and Nik who were once from enemy clans come together to help each other and everyone around them from the destruction and death that is looming around the corner. The author does such a good job with the pacing and continuing the plot, it never feels like it's too slow or too fast and every scene feels super important to the book. The author connects everything together in such a beautiful way once again that I'm just awe-struck. The ending chapters left me breathless and I was immediately ready to start the next book.

I really love the characters in the book and we see much more of them and their development. Some people changed for the better, others for the worse and new relationships are formed. Some of them had me squealing with excitement. I found myself liking the characters, even more, especially Sora, Nik and a character named Antreas and his companion, Bast. The relationship between Nik and Mari is so sweet, healthy and beautiful -- I love seeing them interact and can't help but think about how they met and how far they've come. The author writes about realistic relationships and character development, it felt as if I was watching them grow and improve slowly which I love. I'm excited to see what changes they face in the new dangerous and stressful environments they must face.

One thing I adored was how the author so naturally introduced to us the different clans/tribes that there are in the world, I loved to learn and hear about the 'Wind Riders' and 'Whale Singers' and especially the lynx chain!! We got such an in-depth history of them without it being overwhelming or boring, just perfect. I'm so excited to learn more about these different people and hopefully meet them all!

I'm so excited to see what happens next on Mari and Nik's adventure as well as to continue to see their relationship blossom. I also need more of Antreas and Bast, I love them.
