[originally wanted to write a review about its reviews] Anyways, this book riles up Christian apologists... their angry tears fuel me.

4.0

As someone who has not grown up practicing any religion, I approached this book very differently. Because I know very little I have no idea how biased this book was. I liked her writing style and learned a lot from this book because so much of our us curriculum centers around christianity. if you are willing to approach this book with an open mind i believe this book can be very eye-opening and educational. it's super unique and i definitely would recommend!

DID NOT FINISH

I was not able to finish this book. The evidence used was extremely cherry picked and lacked reliable analysis. Nixey completely disregarded the complexity of the situation. Not to mention much of her research was blatantly wrong. I recommend Edward J. Watt’s book The Final Pagan Generation instead.
