It’s… weird…

Kinda wild how they adapted this into a play/movie.

It’s incredibly long and can be difficult to follow along at some parts.

There were parts that were very witty and clever which I enjoyed.

It’s extremely long, too.

My own fault for trying to read the book that a musical that I love is based on. I wanted to squeeze out more love of the characters I already knew, and read a book that didn’t really match up to that expectation in any way. If you’ve chosen to read this because you like the musical - don’t.
