This book was good. It had an interesting take on the isekai genre. In this book, the main character is living inside the game while at the same time living in the real world. It takes a few chapters before the Minecraft part of the book starts, so be patient.

I read this one with my two boys (5 and 7). They absolutely loved The Island, but they didn't seem as enthralled with this book.

I liked it, I was a bit worried reading about a crash to my 6yo who loves Minecraft and then was really disappointed with the non ending 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm really excited to talk with my martial arts student about this book. I am not sure how I felt about Bianca. I wanted to see her learn from her impulsiveness and actually plan things through, but she didn't really grow too much until the very /very/ end. I was surprised that the other character stuck around with her. She would have made playing with her very difficult indeed with how often she derailed plans and just did her own thing. Still, the others seemed to understand her needs well as they had their own traumas to work through in the game. Overall, it wasn't a bad book. I will probably update this review once I've had a chance to talk with my student about it.

It’s a fun little story but it takes way too many liberties with Minecraft. Like how to get to The End and there being a butcher in a village? I get that somebody puts mods in it but it just felt too far from Minecraft to be as enjoyable as the first book.

I absolutely loved this book! As much as I get teased (all lighthearted teasing) for absolutely adoring this book, I’ll always admit that it’s amazing.

It has some dark/sad themes with the light hearted game of Minecraft alongside it. As someone who played lots a child, I think this book is the perfect amount of Minecraft elements.

It’s mature yet in some ways childish. It’s definitely one of my top 10 books. (Take with a grain of salt since I don’t read as much as I’d want to and definitely can’t be compared with others I know.)

I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading and loves Minecraft. 5/5

This was really a good book and I always dreamed about Minecraft VR and I finally got it shortly after I got a quest 2 for my birthday! This reminded me alot of then. But other then that the story was amazing and I like just everything about it!
