I love Sally’s ability to intimately describe the internal dialogue and conflicts of two individuals developing and trying to navigate emotional attachments. It explores relationship intersectionality, covering classist and misogynistic conflicts. It’s intimately honest and realistically tragic.

I had a hard time getting through it. I think that's mostly because I felt Connell was pretty annoying.
