I enjoyed that. And I look forward to finding opportunities to quote the line, “I have taken the name of Virginia Woolf in vain.”

Wry, observational humor and damn good writing.

There are beautifully written sentences in this contemplative story of a woman taking stock of her life while spending time off-season in a hotel.

An interesting book for certain.

I empathized greatly with the loneliness of the character and enjoyed watching her grow from her judgemental self righteous start into a more kind understanding character.

Once the book opens up the other characters it becomes alot more interesting and intriguing to follow along.

A slightly more difficult read than I am used to admittedly.
