Hotel du Lac is a slow read. It is reflective and poignant, emphasising what is important when it comes to relationships. It focuses on the importance of reflection and perspective throughout stages in life.
I enjoyed this book, it is very well written.

A quick read, but not one I'd be tempted to return to
Usually love a classic, but this one is rather dull until the last few pages.
