Elizabeth Cochrane - also known as Nellie Bly - was an incredible woman who today would be described an investigative journalist and who was one of the pioneers in the field of undercover journalism. Wonderfully, she managed to infiltrate an insane asylum for her investigation and was able to better conditions for those in the asylum very shortly after, all at the age of 23. She was part of the stunt girl movement of her time, and from what I can tell propelled it forward immensely with all the powerful things she did.

This was such an interesting topic to explore within a true lens of (ballsy) investigative journalism! I can't help thinking how brave this young writer was in her plan to expose the asylum's treatment of the community's most vulnerable, and I enjoyed her writing style as well!

It’s an informative read. I think it being in comic book format makes it confusing sometimes but overall a good story and a quick read.
