Content warning:. There's a lot of wrong pronouns being used.  We find out later that it doesn't bother the character in question, and the main character starts using the right pronouns.

Super cute love story.

Don't bother with this one.

Love interest is misgendered right to the end. Says they don't care because they are in love.

While some of the sex scenes are nicely written, none of the interesting scenes are describe in more than passing detail.

The set up has size difference, egg laying, there are two group sex situations, heck I'll toss breeding in.  And none of these get explored. Just a mention for plot reasons.

I will be nice and say i loved the side character Dr.Halooder, the 6 legged lizard alien who wears a mech. He is mine now.

I bought this because it was recommended to me. It is not what I expected based off of the summary; it is much more. This book has humor, mystery, sex, deep emotions, and love. It's a wonderful surprise! Mohrn is a sweet, lonely and unloved alien. Simon is the type to jump into things feet first without looking first. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I laughed. I was shocked by the truths revealed. I cried (real tears). I was drawn into the story and the world created. I am glad I gave this book a chance because it's a hidden gem. It's much more than it seems. Give it a chance, you will not be disappointed.

This was a really cute book. Really enjoyed how we uncover the mystery. It is a bit obvious, but the way it played out was very satisfying. The ending miscommunication doesn't quite make sense, especially since one can basically read the others mind, but whatever, have your final contention. Would have been better without it though.

The misgendering got sooooooo old. And I skimmed ahead because I was impatient and I already know how it ends and I just don't really have a desire to read it out, at least right now.

Hlooder was the best character.
