I’ve never read a Brene Brown book I didn’t like, and this is no exception! It’s basically a practical how-to guide in regards to living what Brown calls a “wholehearted” life. I have so much respect for Brown’s careful, dedicated use of qualitative research, and it’s super interesting to see her reach unexpected conclusions about what makes our lives full and meaningful. This feels like a summary of a lot of her earlier research, so if you’ve never read a book by her before, this would be a good one to start with!

As a lifelong perfectionist, this book REALLY spoke to me. I found it very "sticky" and thought provoking.
Brene Brown is just not my jam. I find her writing rambly and hard to follow, and I don't get much out of her books.
